Emergency Services at Allen County Hospital

Allen County Hospital offers emergency services 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Inside the Emergency Department our nurses are specially trained in advanced cardiac life support. We offer rapid medical evaluations to patients entering our Emergency Department, which has reduced wait times. Conditions that we treat in the Emergency Department include:
- Acute behavioral health problems
- Asthma and other breathing emergencies
- Back pain
- Burns
- Emotional distress
- Falls
- Heart attack/chest pain
- Injuries caused by violence
- Poisoning
- Severe pain and/or bleeding
- Stroke
The Emergency Department is prepared to handle your emergencies with technologically advanced monitoring systems.
We also participate in the Lifeline® Emergency Response System. Whether you are experiencing a minor emergency or a life-threatening situation, we can provide the emergency care you need. We have convenient parking and easy access at Highway 54 and 1st Street.
